After a total of 39 years as an employee and then owner of Northwoods Therapy Associates, I decided to retire and recycle myself. In the spring of 2011, my husband and I purchased a small dilapidated farmhouse nestled in 64 acres of rolling hills South of our hometown of Eau Claire, WI. It has been a labor of love and always a work in progress. We have focused our visions on this property to provide a calm sanctuary for our family and friends. I decided to open our doors to share the gift of beauty and relaxed atmosphere with others. Art has always been important to me . When I am not busy with retreat and outdoor projects at Blue Sky, I find myself crafting, sewing, quilting and dyeing fabrics. For many of the retreats I have designed simple easy projects to feed your creative side. I have always enjoyed yoga, meditation, and self care activities. I feel it is important for all women to enrich their lives through these activities. To share this dream, at each retreat, the experienced yoga instructors at Blue Sky are joined by a team of expert speakers to share their passion and knowledge in the rolling hills surrounding the farmhouse. My main goal at each retreat is to ensure you have a comfortable, relaxed, and friendly experience.
