In the spring of 2011, my husband and I took a leap of faith and purchased a small, weathered farmhouse nestled on 110 acres of rolling hills just south of our hometown of Eau Claire, WI. Over the years, it has become a true labor of love—a place where beauty, creativity, and peace can flourish.

Art has always been at the heart of my life. Whether I’m crafting, sewing, quilting, or dyeing fabrics, I am drawn to the joy of creating something unique by hand. At Blue Sky Retreat, I love designing simple, approachable projects that invite guests to explore their own creativity, try something new, and let their imaginations take flight. There’s something magical about watching people discover the joy of making, surrounded by the quiet beauty of nature.

My hope with every retreat is to create a space where guests feel completely at ease—comfortable, inspired, and free to slow down and enjoy the process. Blue Sky is a place to reconnect with yourself, your creativity, and the natural world, all in the rolling hills of this cherished farmhouse.
